Kudos

The Graphix Plus team were fantastic in helping to work through a lot of information to develop a site while helping to properly organize things. I was very impressed with the patience as we had numerous changes and alternative ideas. We were very satisfied!

Kudos from Vipul Gupta...see more!

Here we go again - IE9 is a comin'!

With the release of Microsoft's latest effort in the world of browsing slated for today (March 14, 2011), I must say I'm a little less than enthusistic.

Sure, they're boasting all kinds of new features, performance upgrades, security improvements, and so on, but what they fail to mention (and with good cause, really) is that these 'new' features have already been staples in many of the other competitors browsers for some time (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox...the list goes on).

After losing footing in the browser market (largely due to the fact that after releasing Internet Explorer 6 a decade ago they sat on their laurels and stopped paying attention), they finally realized that this needed addressing.  Within just a few short years, three new versions (7, 8 and now, 9) of Internet Explorer were thrown at the world wide web, with three new sets of problems.

And guess who gets to deal with these problems?

Yup, your friendly neighbourhood web developer.

Sure, the advancements they're making are steps in the right direction, however, from a developers point of view, it's just ANOTHER browser that in all likelihood is going to treat a website framework just a little differently than it's predecessor, and we've got to find a way to fix it.

So, with that said, do yourself (and your developer) a favour, and try one of the browsers I mentioned above out...you won't regret it!
